LANSING, Mich. â Michigan health officials have confirmed 2,716 new cases of the coronavirus in the state since Saturday. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reports an additional 33 deaths connected to COVID-19 on May 10, 2021.
There are now 865,349 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 18,239 total deaths in Michigan.
A total of 2,355 adults with confirmed or suspected cases of the virus are hospitalized in the state.
As of May 7, 703,746 have recovered from the virus.
9,816,695 COVID-19 vaccines have been distributed throughout the state, and 7,292,394 have been administered as of May 9.
