Coming in about two months after the previous issue, where most of the mystery was seemingly solved, Bettie Page draws to a close with this installment. I’ve enjoyed a number of Karla Pacheco’s works prior to this one but it’s not a pairing that worked well with Bettie Page in my mind. Not that I expected it to carry on from the previous series of miniseries that we had, but her interpretation of Page just didn’t click for me and we were left with what felt like a somewhat empty shell of a character that was just happy to be near the action on her path to being a star.
