This week, Guy Trammell, an African American man from Tuskegee, Ala., and Amy Miller, a white woman from South Berwick, Maine, write about recent attacks on Asian-Americans. By Guy Trammell Jr. At 4 years old, I started school in Indonesia. My first teacher, my tutor and my first playmate and best buddy all were Indonesian, as were two ladies and a man who lived with us to help my mother with the housework and became family. When we returned to Tuskegee, three young Indonesians who had enrolled at Tuskegee Institute, Rudy, Sylvia and Helen, joined our family, cooking the peanut gravy with the crunchy rice that I craved from our time on the islands.

This move comes in wake of tourism industry suffering loss of foreign arrivals due to the COVID pandemic. Thailand tourism industry gradually started picking up pace after it rolled out the 60- and 90-day visas for international travellers. And to keep the momentum going, and save the industry from failing amid the pandemic, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), which is the official tourism body of Thailand, has now partnered with Tinder to offer travel packages to singles.
