MSc. Mirjam Jan-Blazic Re-elected President of the Slovenian Foundrymen Society At the General Assembly of the Slovenian foundrymen Society, which took place on 25 February 2021 as a video conference, MSc. Mirjam Jan-Blažic, a long-time businesswoman (LTH Castings and SIJ d.d. foundry), was re-elected as the President. Prof. Primož Mrvar from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering in Ljubljana and MSc. Avgust Šibila from Talum d.d. Ulitki were elected as Vice Presidents. The Executive Board had previously appointed a new Technical Secretary, Dr. Sebastjan Kastelic, who replaced the long-time General Secretary MSc. Martin Debelak. The Slovenian foundrymen Society is one of the largest and oldest technical associations in Slovenia. It brings together all the largest and medium-sized and partly also smaller foundry companies in Slovenia and a few companies from abroad.
