Navy Crews Get Specially-designed Smartwatches Posted on SEOUL, Dec. 30 (Korea Bizwire) Crew members of South Korean Navy vessels will be able to exchange voice messages, images and texts through specially-designed smartwatches. The Navy announced on Tuesday that as part of its SMART project, it launched a drive to establish wireless network systems for its vessels. To kick off the project, a smart wireless network system was installed on the 3,200-ton Yang Manchun destroyer during the October to December period of this year. The smart wireless network system is scheduled to begin normal operations next year after a trial period. To ensure smooth information sharing within the vessel, special smartwatches designed for military use were given to all crew members of the destroyer.

Kang curried favor and private information from the foreign official by promising to compensate him after he resigned from public service. The official is not named in the complaint. In 2010, Kang s conspirator helped induce the acquisitions administration of South Korea s Department of Defense to approve and maintain contracts with Kang s company during an initiative to update the country s naval technology.
