Mar 03, 2021 A charitable foundation in Akwesasne is donating 700 lacrosse sticks to help train the next generation of Iroquois athletes and reinforce the importance of lacrosse in Iroquois, or Haudenosaunee, culture.
The Strong Roots Charitable Foundation donated 700 lacrosse sticks to support the Iroquois Nationals Development Program for Haudenosaunee youth. The Strong Roots Charitable Foundation is giving the sticks to the youth development arm of the Iroquois Nationals. The Nationals are a First Nations team that plays against the United States, Canada, and other teams in international championships.
