Ultimately, while speculation ran rampant and Wilson s agent poured gasoline on the fire by releasing four teams his client would be willing to waive his no-trade clause to play for, Seattle never intended to move him. Behind the scenes, general manager John Schneider worked swiftly to upgrade the roster around the disgruntled seven-time Pro Bowler, trading for veteran guard Gabe Jackson, signing tight end Gerald Everett, and drafting receiver D Wayne Eskridge.

The Raiders had an efficient offense in 2020 and Chiefs fans saw this in both matchups. Las Vegas they went toe-to-toe with the Chiefs each time beating the Chiefs in Week 5 and averaged 35.5 points per game against Kansas City. Overall, they were top 10 in both offensive yards and points. Yet in 2021, they have traded away three of their best offensive linemen: center Rodney Hudson, guard Gabe Jackson and tackle Trent Brown. For skill players, they let their most productive wide receiver Nelson Agholor walk in free agency, adding only 31
