TAHLEQUAH â Poker has been âreintroducedâ at the tribeâs casinos in West Siloam Springs and Catoosa, according to the Cherokee Nation Businesses boss.
âWeâre going to have eight positions per game with plexiglass dividers so that we can ensure the safety of our patrons,â CNB CEO Chuck Garrett told Tribal Councilors on April 29.
At both casinos, masks remain mandatory for employees and guests.
âWe suggest that guests bring their own masks, which should cover the nose and mouth, but not the entire face or head,â the CNBâs casino website states.
The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa is operating under the Hard Rock Internationalâs SAFE + SOUND program. According its website site, âThese comprehensive guidelines enhance cleaning practices, social interaction and workplace protocols.âÂ

CATOOSA â Cherokee Nation Businesses has opened the doors to its new CNB Employee Health Center, a primary care clinic exclusively for employees and dependents enrolled in the tribal companyâs medical plan.
According to a CNB press release, the health facility is located next to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa and features a full-time staff, including a physician, patient advocate, registered nurse and medical assistant.
âThe hard work and dedication of CNBâs talented workforce continues to provide tremendous benefits for our citizens and the people of northeast Oklahoma,â said Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. âThe new CNB Employee Health Center is an outstanding resource for the people who work diligently to support our communities and expand the local economy and who are responsible for the continued success of our tribal businesses.âÂ
