Officials: 6 rescued from boat on Long Island Sound in Clinton

CLINTON Six people were rescued Sunday night after their boat became disabled and started to take on water, fire officials said.
The volunteer fire department was dispatched to the Long Island Sound for a reported marine rescue around 7 p.m.
Clinton’s marine rescue boat responded to an area of the Sound near Kelsey Point, where first responders found the vessel mechanically disabled and taking on water, officials said.
