Alabama hospital offers tickets for COVID vaccine

Sylacauga’s Coosa Valley Medical Center is offering a chance on Thursday to those eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
According to the hospital, Coosa Valley received additional doses of the Pfizer vaccine and tickets will be available Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. outside the hospital’s main entrance. There will be a designated area for a line to form.
The tickets are open to Talladega County residents who are 65 or over with high-risk medical conditions. Tickets will only be distributed to those in line.
The ticket will include the date and time for vaccination. No appointments will be made.
