Google Foldable Phone To Come By The End Of 2021
Rumors about Google’s foldable smartphones have been on the net for a while. But only at the beginning of this year, we started getting trustworthy information concerning its design, features and launch date. In fact, the first Google Pixel folding screen handset was leaked in the Android 12 code. Of course, this wasn’t enough to confirm it’s on the way. But it’s a real reason to think Google is working on it.
As for now, a new report from Korea says that Google will release its own foldable phone by the end of the year. As you can guess, it will get OLED panels from Samsung Display. The latter is said to start mass-production of the panels in October.

Google Pixel Fold phone will continue its production and release this year. Google may have stopped the production of Pixel Watch, but its foldable phone Pixel Fold will be on the way this year.
The leak posted on August 2020 revealed that Google was planning to release its first-ever folding Pixel phone in late 2021.

According to the site TheElec, Samsung will start production of folding OLED panels this October for Google, Xiaomi, and Vivo s upcoming folding phones, all of which will be revealed in late 2021.
Google has not exactly kept its folding phone plans a secret. In 2019, the company published patent applications for its own folding screens and admitted that it had been prototyping the patents for a while now.
While Google's gearing up to launch some new Pixel Buds and presumably the Pixel 5a in a few months, our eyes are starting to look beyond that for another device release. The rumor mill is ramping up surrounding a supposed "Google Pixel Fold" that is said to be in the works. At this point, we've seen a few rumors suggesting that Google has tapped Samsung for providing the displays, which comes as no surprise. Samsung has been the industry leader in the foldable smartphone department, with its combination of high-quality design and incredible displays that are found on the likes of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G and Z Fold 2.
