Offense shines in annual Troy T-Day
The Trojans wrapped up the spring season with one final scrimmage at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

TROY, Ala. (WSFA) - Team Cardinal was able to hold off Team White in Troyâs annual T-Day, but head coach Coach Chip Lindsey was very pleased with the effort from all his guys on Saturday.
âIt was great being back on the field in a game situation, and I know our players were excited about it,â Lindsey said. âIt was good to see our guys fly around and really compete. Weâve got good competition as whole which is what is different about this team. We have really good competition all the way around which makes everyone better.â

NEW ORLEANS – The 2020 Sun Belt Conference Champions dominated the Sun Belt Conference football postseason awards, which were released today, as Coastal Carolina claimed five of the top six honors.

TROY, Ala. (WSFA) - The Troy Trojans fell to the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers 42-38 Saturday in Troy.
The Trojans finished the day with 443 total yards of offense.
The Chanticleers were the first to strike. With over a minute into the starting quarter, running back CJ Marable ran the ball 59-yards for a touchdown.
With over eight minutes left in the first quarter, Coastal Carolina would strike again. Quarterback Grayson McCall connected with Marable for a 20-yard touchdown.

CONWAY, S.C. â The No. 11/13 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers will hit the road for their final regular-season contest this Saturday, Dec. 12, at 3 p.m. ET in Troy, Alabama. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
Saturdayâs game at Troy was originally scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 14, but was postponed due to a combination of positive COVID-19 tests and injuries to a specific position group within the Troy football program.
