When it came to the scheduling logistics, the Big Ten blew it. But that doesn’t mean the other conferences got it right.
Everyone has pushed through playing a college football season during a pandemic, all while likely underestimating the toll its taken on many involved. Hopefully the players have benefitted some, because it’s been a welcome break.
The Big Ten’s ride concludes with “championship week,” which became more about preserving some rivalries, COVID willing. Who sticks around for bowl games will be another interesting storyline.

That trio, despite missing other games this season, entered the day accounting for 34.5% of teamâs offense, and their absences proved to be too much for the team to bear.
