Good news for the Camaro SS, too.
The Chevrolet Camaro continues to be temporarily out of production due to the ongoing semiconductor chip shortage, meaning customers are limited to what s currently available on dealership lots. General Motors hasn t announced when the assembly line will start back up again for what will very likely be the 2022 model at this point. And speaking of the 2022 Camaro, Chevy has reportedly fixed one vital issue that forced a sales ban in two states.
If you recall, last December we reported that California and Washington state residents could not order the 2021 Camaro ZL1 and ZL1 1LE, SS, and 2SS trims for delivery after January 1, 2021 due to restrictions regarding the muscle car s copper brake pads.

The news that the world would get a new Hummer was pretty huge, and the fact that the Edition 1 sold out in one hour goes to show just how excited the US is for the new all-electric off-roader. This new rival to the Tesla Cybertruck and Rivian RT1 promises lots of performance, and targets a higher-end truck buyer, as pricing has so clearly indicated. The 2023 Hummer EV lineup will feature four trim levels, starting with the EV2, followed by the EV2X, EV3X, and finally the range-topping Edition 1. The EV3X will be the second trim level to go on sale after the Edition 1, and in an interesting turn of events, will be sold with the same powertrain as the Edition 1, according to Hummer Nation.
The fun can t last forever.
We knew from the get-go that the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat was going to be a one model-year-only affair. A completely redesigned Durango is not far out and the automaker figured a Hellcat-powered version would be the ideal swansong. Production will last for only six months. But when will it ultimately end? Mopar Insiders claims it has learned from dealer sources that production is about to begin at the Jefferson North Assembly Plant in Detroit, Michigan, and will end sometime in June.
These same sources claim the automaker wants to slightly increase production due to understandably high demand. Originally, the plan called for just 2,000 examples. How many more could Dodge potentially build? That remains to be seen and hopefully nearly everyone who wants one will get one.
