Is Josh Hawley The Compromise? Prospects For A (Teddy) Roosevelt-Type Right In America   | Articles

Newsweek, March 6, 2021]. This fits in with his patriotic message on immigration control, an issue he pressed during Attorney General Merrick Garland’s confirmation hearings. Hawley forced Garland to admit that, incredibly, he “didn’t know” if illegal immigration should even be a crime. Typically, few other Republicans seemed concerned with the issue. This combination of immigration patriotism, trade populism, and economic progressivism is potent. And while it’s dangerous to read Hawley’s beliefs into a biography of a political figure from an earlier time, it’s striking that Hawley picked Teddy Roosevelt. Thus Hawley writes of Teddy Roosevelt’s Progressive Party program that the Bull Moose went further than just “regulating industry”:

This Yellowstone Bull Moose is Mighty Proud, But Bison Don t Care

If you re a bull moose in Yellowstone National Park, you have plenty of reasons to be proud. One big moose recently lost his antlers, but is mighty proud anyway. This special video moment was shared by Yellowstone Wolf Tracker on Facebook this past weekend. This big guy looks mighty happy, but the bison who are lounging nearby don t seem to be be impressed. The status shared on Facebook pretty much nails what s happening here: This bull moose may have lost his antlers but he still has plenty of sass! The bison don’t seem very impressed though. According to an article on National Geographic, this moose antler shed is right on time. The moose shed is normally complete by the end of January, so this big guy is ready for a new rack to grow between now and mating season later this year.

Third Street to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive could have been a slam dunk, but it wasn’t. One group wanted to name it Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., while the other preferred Old World Third St., “better for tourism” they said. After some complex haggling the members of the Milwaukee Common Council reached a compromise. Mayor

UNBC and Prince George Airport Authority rescue moose on the loose

UNBC and Prince George Airport Authority rescue moose on the loose SHARE ON: Moose Photo by Pixabay It was quite the journey for one Bull Moose that found his way onto the airfield side on the YXS grounds. The moose ended up in one of the photos taken by Dr.Roy Rea, UNBC Instructor’s camera trap on the airfield side of the security fence at the airport. Rea says he was immediately concerned about the moose walking in front of an aircraft, given the steady declining moose population in the area. “We knew right away this was something that should not be airside,” said Dr.Rea, “what happened was he discovered an area of the airport that hadn’t been grazed by other twig-eating animals for years and years.”
