Wisconsin Rapids City Times Local students receive full ride through caddying For the Gazette GLENVIEW, IL– Three local students have been awarded the Evans Scholarship, a full housing and tuition college grant offered to golf caddies, following an online selection interview. “Each of these deserving young students epitomizes what our program has been about since its creation in 1930,” said Western Golf Association Chairman Kevin Buggy. “Their dedication, hard work and sacrifice is humbling, and we are honored to be able to help them pursue their dreams.” Recipients include: Kaleb Anderson of Wisconsin Rapids, Carson Parks of Port Edwards, and Katelyn Trowbridge of Milladore. All are caddies at Sand Valley Golf Resort.
