BRILLION - A 35-year-old Brillion man was seriously injured and flown to the hospital following a crash Friday morning.
The single-vehicle crash happened around 8:10 a.m. Friday on Man Cal Road near Winkler Road in Brillion, according to the Calumet County Sheriff s Office.
The 35-year-old man had been driving east on Man Cal Road when his vehicle left the road and hit a ditch and surrounding trees, according to the sheriff s office. Firefighters from the Brillion and Hollandtown fire departments had to use the Jaws of Life to get the man out of the vehicle.
There were no passengers in the vehicle, the sheriff s office said.

NEW HOLSTEIN - A 16-year-old horseback rider was seriously injured after a vehicle crashed into the horse in Calumet County.
Deputies responded around 1:30 p.m. Friday to a report of a vehicle that struck a horse and its rider on County HH near Meyer Road, according to the Calumet County Sheriff s Office.
The person was riding the horse eastbound on County HH when the horse went into the road and was struck, deputies said.
The 16-year-old rider was flown via ThedaStar to Theda Clark Medical Center in critical condition.
Neither the people in the vehicle nor the horse were injured, according to the sheriff s office.
