Woman jumps out moving vehicle after carjacking

Rhondor Dowlat-Rostant A 25-year-old woman has reported to police that she was kidnapped by a man who hit her vehicle from behind, before bundling her back into her vehicle when she came out. He then drove off. She told police she jumped out of the moving vehicle in Carlsen Field to escape when the incident occurred around 7.45 am Friday. Residents said this seemed to be a recent regular occurrence in the area and are warning motorists not to stop, but instead drive straight to the police station to make a report. One resident, who wished not to be identified, said people are lurking in the area and are either hurling objects at passing vehicles or causing accidents with their vehicles, hoping for drivers to stop before attacking and robbing them.
