Jamaica Promotions Corporation will increase mango shipments to US
The Jamaica
Promotions Corporation has stated that two Jamaican companies have partnered with international buyer Seasons Farm Fresh to export more mangoes to the US. JAMPRO President Diane Edwards said that there is high demand for Jamaican fresh produce and that JAMPRO is focused on meeting this demand.
Edwards also said: “The Government of Jamaica is committed to finding new ways to develop agriculture not only for export but for local consumption. With more public and private partnerships, and increased support to our farmers and exporters, we believe we will see further expansion in the export of fresh produce and value-added products.”

Supporting the growth of Jamaican exports continues to be a crucial mandate for the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association (JMEA).
To mark National Exporters’ Month, which is observed in May, the JMEA will be hosting a series of activities specifically designed to assist exporters with boosting their knowledge and capacity.
The JMEA is observing the month under the theme, “Building A Sustainable Future Through Exports”.
This year’s series of activities will include the Doing Business in Export Workshop series which will analyse the intricacies of conducting export in regions such as North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
