S-C FBLA Students Earn 16 Medals At District
Smith-Cotton High School FBLA students earned 16 medals, including two first place finishes, in the District 10 competition, held virtually on Wednesday, Feb. 17, due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Junior Gannon Perkins won the Public Speaking competition and was third in Accounting 1. Freshman Kush Patel was first in Word Processing and took fifth place in Intro to Financial Math.
They will be joined by Regina Robinson (third, Intro to Business Communications) and Faith Johnson (fifth, Journalism) in the Missouri FBLA State Leadership Conference competitions, which will take place virtually in April.
