Man seriously injured in accident Article by December 18, 2020 A 33-year-old man suffered serious injuries after a collision that occurred around 7:20 a.m., in Christ Church today. According to police, the man whose name was not disclosed, apparently lost control of the vehicle and collided with a wall at the top of Oistins Hill, near Cane Vale, Christ Church. The victim was extracted from the vehicle by personnel from the Barbados Fire Service using the “Jaws Of Life”. He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance. Police said a 33-year-old man has sustained serious injuries after an incident earlier today. According to a media statement, around 7:20 a.m., officers responded to reports of a collision at the top of Oistins Hill, near Cane Vane, Christ Church. On arrival, it was reported that the driver had collided with a wall. He was extracted from the vehicle by personnel from the Barbados Fire Service using the “Jaws Of Life”. He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance. Investigations are ongoing.

Fire officers rescue driver in Cane Vale accident

A 33-year-old male narrowly escaped a fatal accident at the top of Oistins Hill this morning. According to Police Public Relations Officer,Sergeant Michael Blackman, the 33-year-old male driver lost control of his vehicle and collided into a wall, receiving multiple injuries. Around 7:20 am lawmen received a report of the collision which occurred at the top of Oistins Hill near Cane Vale Christ Church. The driver, who has yet to be identified, was extracted from the motor car using the Jaws of Life by the personnel from the Barbados Fire Service. He was then transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for medical attention.
