Broadcaster Kel Richards says the woke-left's hatred of the word normal is likely "a fear of what normal represents" but real life is against them.
"Linguistically, normal's been part of the English language since 1598, and behind it is a really strong Latin term," he said.
"If they're attacking 'normal', what they're doing is, linguistically, nonsense.
"73 per cent of Australian children are being raised by both their biological parents in an intact family. That's normal and that's the kind of thing that worries these people."
Broadcaster Kel Richards says "forward estimates" should be taken with a grain of salt given mathematical projections are "dubious things" by nature, such as projections about the number of COVID-19 deaths in Australia.
"Mathematical projections are never reliable because they can't take into account the unpredictable," he said.
