WOODLAWN, Md. (AP) â Baltimore County officials said Monday theyâre examining a manâs interactions with authorities dating back 30 years after he killed three people, set fire to his home and was fatally shot by responding officers last weekend.
âWe have a lot of questions,â Baltimore County Police Chief Melissa R. Hyatt said at a news conference in the aftermath of Saturdayâs violence.Saturdayâs violence.
The man, Everton Brown, 56, had interactions with patrol officers, outreach officers and the crisis intervention team over many years, Col. Andre Davis said. Neighbors described threatening, erratic behavior and Davis said three peace orders had been filed against him.

WOODLAWN, Md. – A Maryland man who neighbors said had a long history of aggression went on a rampage over the weekend, shooting or stabbing three people to death and setting his home on fire before responding officers fatally shot him, police said Sunday.
A news release from the Baltimore County Police Department identified the victims and offered the clearest picture so far of what the department said unfolded on a residential street in suburban Baltimore early Saturday.
According to police, a preliminary investigation indicates 56-year-old Everton Brown forced his way into a neighboring house, where he stabbed and shot Ismael Quintanilla, 41.
