The Oregon Ducks (5-1) defeated the San Francisco Dons (5-4) by a score of 74 to 64, extending their winning-streak at Matt Knight Arena to 25 games.
Eugene Omoruyi led all scorers with 19 points on 7-of-15 shooting from the floor, but in truth the Ducks did not look great offensively against a determined Don defense. Eric Williams Jr. (16 points), Chris Duarte (11 points), and Amauri Hardy (11 points) also finished in double-digit scoring, but ultimately it was the Duck defense that earned the win in this one.
Altman will have plenty to loudly talk about in Oregon’s next practice before facing Portland on Saturday as the Ducks started and ended the game sluggishly. San Francisco drained a triple to open up scoring and then built a 16-9 lead thanks in part to some poor shooting from the Ducks.
