Children at St Bernard s Primary School in Nitshill KIND-HEARTED schoolkids braved the weather yesterday to raise vital funds for a local foodbank. The social enterprise committee at St Bernard’s Primary School in Nitshill sold copies of a special version of the Big Issue made by pupils. The children raised £93 yesterday morning and hope to continue selling copies throughout the week. Chelsea Reid and Orla Maxwell were two of the pupils who had work published in the special edition. They both wrote acrostic poems which detailed the work that the school s social enterprise committee have been doing throughout the year.
