A French adaptation of Israeli director Joseph Cedar’s feature film Footnote (which won the Best Screenplay award in Cannes 2011) coming courtesy of Bruno Chiche in association with  Cécilia Rouaud and Yaël Langmann, the story plunges the viewer into the Dumar family home where both father and son are orchestra conductors by profession: François is coming to the end of a long and brilliant international career while Denis has just won his umpteenth Victoire award in the field of classical music. When François learns that he has been chosen to lead the orchestra at Milan’s La Scala theatre - his ultimate dream and holy grail - he can hardly believe what he’s hearing.
