COVID-19: 60 cases documented on May 6
Vietnam recorded 60 cases of COVID-19 during the 12 hours to 6pm May 6, including 56 locally-infected cases and four imported, according to the Health Ministry.
Among the 56 local cases, 16 were at the second facility of the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Hanoi, 12 in the northern province of Bac Ninh, 11 in the northern province of Vinh Phuc, four in Hanoi, 3 in the central city of Da Nang.
The national tally has reached 3,090, with 1,690 local cases. In the latest wave of outbreaks from April 27, 120 cases have been detected.

Hanoi â The Peopleâs Court of Hanoi on May 5 opened a first-instance trial of a case related to smuggling and violations of accounting regulations which occurred at the Nhat Cuong Technic Co Ltd.
This is one of the five major cases which the Central Steering Committee for Corruption Prevention and Control has required to be tried as early as possible.
At the opening session on May 5, the trial jury announced a decision to cancel the trial against Mai Tien Dung, 38, head of Nhat Cuong Companyâs used mobile business line, who died due to fatal illness.

The newly established Solomon Islands Independent Commission Against Corruption (SIICAC) office is now rolling out its recruitment Plan.
The recruitment exercise is part of the activities taken after the appointment of the Director General of SIICAC at the end of October 2020. The first phase of the recruitment involves officers in the Corporate and Support Services Division.
