CAPTURED: U.S. Marshals led Pacific NW Violent Offender Task Force most wanted suspect arrested in Las Vegas article CAPTURE UPDATE May 12, 2021 - The U.S. Marshals led Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force says one of its top ten most wanted fugitives, Ricky Jackson, was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Las Vegas on Friday, May 7th. Marshals say after briefly barricading himself inside a home in the 10000 block of Cherry Brook St., Jackson was taken into custody and booked into the Clark County Jail, pending extradition to King County.  The goal of the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force is to bring together resources from federal, state and local law enforcement, utilize the specialized skills they bring to the table and apprehend violent offenders, Chief Deputy Richard Craig stated. Firm rolls out national domestic violence assistance package Firm rolls out national domestic violence assistance package Share With May marking Domestic Violence Awareness Month an Australian law firm has taken the initiative to launch its own assistance packages for victims. Forge Legal has created and intends to roll out national domestic violence assistance package in May with the aim to support people who are victims of domestic violence. The Forge Legal domestic violence assistance package will provide domestic violence victims vouchers with legal, emotional and practical assistance to help them create a new, safe and independent life. Vouchers will include legal fees for a free protection order, as well as donated goods and services from other partners including storage, clothes, food, phones, school supplies, transport, toys, computers, health/wellbeing products, employment assistance, car rentals, removalist assistance and accommodation vouchers.
