Lord Of The Rings Tabletop RPG Getting Second Edition The Lord of the Rings tabletop RPG has found a new publisher for its second edition, and it s beginning a Kickstarter very soon. The One Ring, a tabletop RPG based on the Lord of the Rings universe, is getting a second edition. The second edition will get a Kickstarter campaign to fund its release, starting February 11. The first edition of the tabletop RPG released in 2011 from game designer Francesco Nepitello, who is returning for the second edition. This new edition will feature a new hardbound source book with updated and streamlined rules based on feedback from the last decade of play. It also offers redesigned visual elements for the game, with a fresh and familiar look at Middle-earth.
