Montana Debuts New COVID-19 Vaccine Dashboard
The state of Montana has a new COVID-19 vaccine dashboard. The dashboard was launched on Monday so Montanans can check on the total number of vaccines administered, as well as how many Montanans have been fully immunized and doses administered per 1,000 eligible people.
“With over 77,000 safe and effective vaccine doses administered in Montana, we continue to make strides to protect the most vulnerable. We can make even greater progress if the federal government increases our supply,” Governor Gianforte said. “
I encourage Montanans to use this dashboard to stay up to date on our progress to save lives and make the vaccine available to everyone who wants one.”
The dashboard also tracks doses administered per 1,000 eligible people in individual counties across the state. DPHHS is committed to providing as much information as possible regarding COVID-19 vaccine distribution in Montana, said DPHHS acting Director Erica Johnston. There s much work ahead, but the new maps shows the progress that has been made administering the vaccine to residents in local communities statewide.
As of Monday, over 77,000 vaccine doses have been administered in the state, and nearly 15,000 Montanans are fully immunized.
The Cascade City-County Health Department began its three-day vaccination clinic at Montana ExpoPark on Monday in conjunction with Benefis Health System and the Great Falls Clinic. Officials expect 1,500 does of the COVID-19 vaccine will be administered. An appointment is required and is also running Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
