County closing Martha Road for culvert work
The Guernsey County Highway Department will close Martha Road between Moccasin Road and Readman Road from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily Monday through Friday for culvert replacement.

Court releases February receipts
Receipts from the Cambridge Municipal Court criminal division totaled $91,872.37, including $55,421.03 paid to the city, $17,940.54 to the state, $12,173.78 to the county and $6,337.02 in miscellaneous payments.
The city treasurer received $66,497.43.
During February, 451 cases were filed, including:
• 313 traffic cases
• 4 miscellaneous case.
No jury trials were held. There were 98 probation intakes and court was in session 19 days.

In honor of Black History Month this February, the Red Cross encourages eligible donors, and especially those who have recovered from COVID-19, to give blood to honor the legacies of African Americans like Dr. Charles Drew and Dr. Jerome Holland.
