The Police and Border Guard Board (PPA) and Health Board will start joint patrols in areas with a higher risk of coronavirus in the coming weeks. The police and the Health Board will conduct joint patrols in places where the Health Board considers the risk of infection to be high. In addition to shopping centers and entertainment and catering places, more attention will be paid to public transport, PPA senior commissioner Tago Trei told ERR on Friday.
Trei said more detailed cooperation is currently being discussed. An order from the government has allowed for the creation of joint patrols. The order casts the Health Board as the responsible authority and allows the PPA to offer assistance.
