Call for papers: Emerging Female EU Law Scholars Workshop One of the consequences of the current Covid-19 crisis is a stark decline of the number of female scholars’ publications. While the causes of this are complex, multiple and pre-date the current crisis, the current situation will have a long lasting and detrimental effect on legal scholarship. Dealing with the decline of female scholars’ publications requires structural changes beyond academia. One way to address it in academia is by providing spaces where early-career female scholars in particular scholars from ethnic and racial minorities can get support from senior scholars and peers. On March, 12th, 2021, the Amsterdam Center for European Law and Governance at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) is organizing a half-day (noon-5pm) online workshop for emerging, non-tenured female scholars working on EU law.
