Prisma Health helps vaccinate Richland One teachers and staff

COLUMBIA, S.C. Richland County School District One partnered with Prisma Health to help vaccinate teachers and staff on Friday at Gamecock Park.
A little over a week ago, South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster made the announcement that teachers would be placed in the Phase 1B group in order to receive the vaccine. On March 8th, Phase 1B officially began in the Palmetto State.

Atlantic County Democratic Committee Chairman Mike Suleiman today informed Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small that the incumbent mayor and his team will have the party line this year.
“I’m tremendously happy for my running mates and I to get the support of the committee chairman – someone who’s fair and not going to be pushed around by someone’s personal agenda. It’s about performing the job – not a vindictive agenda.”
The chairman likes the job Small is doing as mayor. But also, Suleiman’s reasoning for backing the incumbent went in part to impair the movements of a shared antagonist of both the chairman and the mayor: cross-pollinating operative Craig Callaway.

COLUMBIA (WOLO): In January, the CDC ranked South Carolina as one of the slowest states for vaccine use. A new national report released Monday now ranks the Palmetto state as 5th in the nation.
“We had that bad rap because we weren’t doing it quick enough. I think that the medical professionals in South Carolina were trying to find a way.”
Columbia resident Michelle Knight believes they found a way at Gamecock Park. She took her 71-year-old mother to the mass vaccination site last week after scheduling an appointment online. “We went at 9:50am. The process was so smooth. We got her shot and we parked for 15 minutes and at 10:29am we drove out of there. She had her first vaccine, “Knight said.
