Jamorko Pickett (COL ’21) graduates from Georgetown University today as a fine arts major and Big East champion.

The perimeter shooting of No. 7 Dayton – particularly Ibi Watson – did Rhode Island in as the Rams’ season ended with an 84-72 loss in the second round of the Atlantic 10 Championship Thursday.
Rhode Island (10-15) was within one point following an Allen Betrand 3-pointer with 11:15 remaining. However, Dayton (14-8) responded with an 8-0 run to pull back ahead, 64-55 with 8:19 to go, thanks to a Koby Brea 3-pointer.
From there, the Flyers maintained a double-digit for much of the remainder of the game. Watson had a game-high 25 points, including 6-of-11 from 3-point range for Dayton, which advanced to face second-seeded VCU Friday in the quarterfinals.
