World War II aviation history retold during airshows
EAA AirVenture 2021 will feature several airshows that highlight World War II aviation history to celebrate 75 years since the end of the war.
The demonstrations will take place July 30 and 31 and feature planes used by the U.S. Army Air Force and Navy, as well as several international aircraft.
Festival goers can expect to see the P-40 Tomahawk, Supermarine Spitfire, P-38 Lightning, F6F Hellcat, C-47 Skytrain, Hawker Hurricane, P-51 Mustang, F4U Corsair, B-25 Mitchell, B-17 Flying Fortress, B-29 Superfortress and others.
The planes will also be on display at the warbirds area on the north end of the flight line and the Boeing Plaza.
