Lancaster Town Manager retiring after 41 years March 10, 2021LANCASTER It was 41 years ago, that Lancaster Town Manager Ed Samson began his service to the town. In 1979, he joined the Police Department and worked his way through the ranks to eventually become Police Chief. In 2006, Samson decided to take on the role as Town Manager and has been in that role ever since. In regard to his retirement, the charismatic Samson said, I was always told, you ll know when it s time. I feel it s time.
