Grizzly 399 and her cubs are quickly becoming the most famous bears in the country. They have definitely taken the Grand Tetons by storm since awakening from hibernation. Every few days there seems to be new video footage of the bears and even the mama bear is the most famous, most of the videos have featured the cubs doing cute little things.
The latest video is no different. This footage was taken by YouTube account owner, Mark Crabtree, and unlike a lot of recent videos of the bear family, this one is in hi-def (high definition). According to the video s caption, this took place in the Grand Teton National Park, near the Jackson Lake Lodge.
Our personal pick of east London s best beer gardens.
Pub on the Park, perched above London Fields.
Supposedly our city s oldest riverside inn, you might recognise the Prospect from an appearance in Netflix s The Old Guard (2020). Unsurprising this pub was chosen out of all of London s for the denouement scene: it s a combination of historic, sinister, atmospheric and downright beautiful.
Previously answering to the name of The Pelican and later The Devil s Tavern, and with a pedigree stretching back to 1520, it was already getting on a bit when Shakespeare first came to town. The pub plays into the area s history of piracy, with a much-photographed noose dangling round the back. Inside s all pewter-topped bar and creaky wooden interior, rebuilt following a fire in Victorian times and a further refit in the 1950s, though some of the flagstones are reckoned to be centuries old. And the outside s just as ramshackle a tiny but lovely terrace, with a staggering view of the river
One pub operator has described being £18,000 down after the reopening of Glasgow pubs was delayed.
Scottish operators said they were grateful to be able to serve alcohol indoors to pubgoers once more despite restrictions hampering trade.
Customers in most of mainland Scotland were able to drink a pint inside a pub from Monday 17 May under level two of the government’s lockdown easing framework.
However, a last minute announcement saw Glasgow held back in level three alongside Moray after rising coronavirus cases.
Hospitality venues in level two cannot serve alcohol indoors and must close at 8pm for indoor service, meaning reopening is unviable for many pubs.
