The staff of Rush, Lusk and Loughshinny nursing homes were delighted recently when St Maur s GAA delivered specially made hampers to say a big thank you for their tireless work and commitment throughout the pandemic.
St Maur s came up with the idea for a hamper drop as part of the GAA s Healthy Club initiative, which aims to help GAA clubs explore how they support the holistic health of their members and the communities they serve.
Selena Carthy, Healthy Club Officer with St Maur s, explains: We have a Healthy Club committee and what we were trying to do was we just wanted to say a little thank you to the staff of the nursing homes.
