It just might if it’s served at the All Creatures Yum! pop-up (or should we say emerging?) events happening in the Bloomington area.
Jeremy Chasteen, one of the three organizers, will be cooking up creations using cicadas as an ingredient. The first is scheduled for June 12 with one or two more to be scheduled soon after.
Chasteen has experience with food since he’s been working as a caterer for the past eight years. It’s not his full-time job but something he enjoys doing.

However, with climate change increasingly the focus of regional, national and international concern, the parish has started its own small-scale eco-scheme. The Whashton Parish Net Zero Carbon Footprint Project has has two major components. Firstly, a survey has been undertaken to determine the current sources of energy used across the parish. Unsurprisingly, with the parish not being connected to the gas network, the majority of residences use oil as the main source of energy.
License Revoked For Santa Clarita Veterinarian Following Pet Deaths
On Tuesday, April 27, Santa Clarita veterinarian Dr. Balpal Sandhu’s license was revoked, after the board reportedly ruled that the doctor had failed to comply with certain regulations and committed acts of negligence and unprofessional conduct.
The California Veterinary Medical Board ruled on Tuesday that acts of negligence and unprofessional conduct, among other listed acts, were reportedly committed by veterinarian Dr. Balpal Sandhu.

When the Channel 5 reboot of All Creatures Great and Small was shown in the US earlier this year, it received almost universal critical acclaim. “In a TV universe where a dark tone and byzantine plotting are so often the default,” wrote Alan Sepinwall in a typical piece in Rolling Stone, “the empathy and simplicity of All Creatures feel genuinely radical.”
