The Press Association news agency compiled the figures based on Public Health England data with 103 areas across the country seeing a week-on-week rise in case numbers as lockdowns eased. Readers had mixed reviews about the numbers increasing. Some people expected it, while others thought it was too soon to see a rise in cases from pubs reopening. As well as tents, the fly-campers had left camping chairs, empty bottles and cans, laughing gas canisters, plastic waste, and wet wipes.
