Prime Minister Modi Likely to Visit Assam Again on February 7
Earlier this month, PM Modi visited Sivasagar s Jerenga Pathar wherein he distributed land pattas to over 1 lakh people and participated in a rally.
GUWAHATI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is said to visit Assam on February 7, 2021.
This was disclosed by sources in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) party.
It is to be mentioned that with the Assam Assembly election around the corner the national leaders of the ruling BJP party is leaving no stones unturned to acquire the committed 100 plus seats.
Earlier this month, PM Modi distributed 1.06 lakh land pattas/allotment certificates to indigenous people of Assam in Sivasagar on January 23.
PM Modi Along with All CMs Likely to Get Vaccinated in 2nd Phase of Inoculation Drive
India is currently administering vaccines to 30 million healthcare and frontline workers. The 2nd phase will involve 270 million people across the country.

NEW DELHI: In the second phase of the Covid inoculation drive which was launched on January 16, 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with all the chief ministers of the respective states will receive the vaccine.
According to the inoculation drive, in the second phase, those above 50 years of age and people with comorbidities will be vaccinated.
All MPs and MLAs who are above 50 will also be vaccinated.

GUWAHATI: Twelve senior doctors in Assam will be the first to get the initial doses of the COVID-19 vaccine on January 16.
According to reports, the doctors considered for the first dose of vaccine at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) are– Dr UC Sarma, Dr Dhrubojyoti Bora, Dr Illias Ali, Dr Bibhash Chandra Goswami, Dr Subhash Khanna, Dr Harsha Bhattacharjee, Dr Rathindra Bhuyan, Dr Anup Barman, Dr Achyut Baishya, Dr Abhijit Sarma, Dr Brajen Lahkar and Dr Manoj Choudhury.
