Zoo breeding program leads to more lizards in Arkansas glades

Forty-three eastern collared lizards bred at the Little Rock Zoo have new homes in the Arkansas Ozarks thanks to an innovative collaboration among the zoo, Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, University of Central Arkansas and the Arkansas Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit.
