YWCA Spokane’s Annual Stand Against Racism Join the community for a courageous conversation about racial equity and justice at the YWCA Spokane’s annual event. Across the country, over 40 other YWCA locations are holding similar events this month, all with the same theme: “We Can’t Wait: Equity and Justice Now!” The evening is hosted by Nicole Jenkins-Rosenkrantz, co-chair of YWCA Spokane’s Racial and Social Justice Committee. Following performances by local artists, Carmen Pacheco-Jones will moderate a discussion with Stephanie Courtney and Terri Anderson on housing and income inequality in the city.
