Youth in North Macedonia raising awareness on how to prevent trafficking in children and girls

. According to the
9
th General report on GRETA’s activities that was published in 2020, there is a trend of
an increasing number of identified victims of trafficking in the past years
. More concretely, the increase of identified victims is
by 44% between 2015 and 2018.
[1]Children remain the most vulnerable group subjected to trafficking, especially children from Roma communities. In North Macedonia, children make the majority of the identified victims, as stated in the reports of the National Anti-Trafficking Commission,
4 out of 6 identified victims in 2019 and 6 out of 7 identified victims in 2020, all girls.
