Locals encouraged to nominate exemplary youth
Nominations for the 2021 Warrnambool and Moyne Youth Awards are now open, with community members encouraged to nominate.
The awards recognise young people aged between 12 and 25 who have exemplified and demonstrated cooperation, resilience, responsibility, kindness and passion.
Warrnambool Mayor Cr Vicki Jellie said that the awards are an important opportunity to recognise and celebrate the talents and the strengths of the region’s young people.
“COVID-19 had an impact on everyone, but young people were hit especially hard,” she said.
