Youth, 16, arrested in killing of Hester Workman at her southwest Topeka home

Topeka police announced early Tuesday morning that they had made an arrested in connection with a homicide discovered late Saturday.
Topeka police have arrested a 16-year-old male youth in connection with Saturday's homicide death of 46-year-old Hester Workman at her southwest Topeka home, they announced early Tuesday morning.
The suspect's name wasn't being made public.
He was arrested in connection with first-degree murder, felony first-degree murder, aggravated burglary, theft and obstructing the legal process, Topeka police Lt. Kelvin Johnson said in a news release put out at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.
