Fortunately neither of the women were injured and they were lead to safety by the farmer.
The stampede took place in a field near Berry Knap, close to the Fleet.
The incident was reported to the police, who then called in the coastguard.
Wyke Regis Coastguard shared the details on Facebook: "The second tasking of the day came in just before 1600.
"We were tasked on the request of Weymouth & Portland Police.
"Two females were stampeded by some young heifers in a field near Berry Knap, close to the Fleet by Higher Barn, New Barn Farm.
"We were tasked because first reports placed the two uninjured females in a more precarious position having being chased towards the Fleet than they were.
