With just over three weeks to go, Nintendo has shared more information about the game on the Japanese Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Twitter account, including details and a screenshot that indicate you can adjust how much Bowser Jr. helps Mario in
Bowser’s Fury.
Bowser’s Fury is easily the most exciting part about the upcoming port, and Bowser Jr. will be joining Mario throughout the adventure as a partner controlled by AI or a second player. The new Nintendo tweet in question elaborates on that, with the quite rough Google Translate version of it being as follows: ”Mario teams up with Bowser Jr., who should always be an enemy. Bowser Jr. will help you, pick up items, and ‘help’ by Mario. The degree of help can be set.” That last part is the key element, and a menu screenshot has an option to adjust how much help your pal provides. The current setting displayed in the menu is set to “From time to time” or a “A little.” What other options are available for that setting remain to be seen.
