A Yeppoon criminal who was charged for possessing a loaded handgun and trafficking illicit drugs has had his appeal to overturn the charges denied.
Jak Quinn Swayn accused police of conducting an “unlawful search” of his vehicle, from which evidence was used in a trial.
Swayn was charged with one count of trafficking methylamphetamine, one count of supplying a handgun, one count of possession of methylamphetamine in a quantity exceeding two grams and one count of possession of a handgun in a public place.
The charges arose from a police search of a vehicle Swayn was driving late on May 31 2020 in Brisbane.
